Planning to marry someone that is the exact copy of you is boring. You would not want to marry someone you cannot learn from. You need to be with a person you admire and learn from on a daily basis so that you are able to be the best version of yourself around them and everyone else. A very crucial thing is to communicate your values related to spirituality, family, health, and personal growth. This is important so that your partner and you are on the same page for the long term. It is obvious that you do not have to agree on small things like your favorite movie snack, but if your bigger ideas and values are unaligned, you need to reconsider your relationship potential. Being on the same page could mean that you both want at least some degree of similarity, such as if you want kids or not, or if you both want a house outside the city or not.

Boundaries are the aspect of a relationship that keeps it extremely healthy.
