A very crucial thing is to communicate your values related to spirituality, family, health, and personal growth. This is important so that your partner and you are on the same page for the long term. It is obvious that you do not have to agree on small things like your favorite movie snack, but if your bigger ideas and values are unaligned, you need to reconsider your relationship potential. Being on the same page could mean that you both want at least some degree of similarity, such as if you want kids or not, or if you both want a house outside the city or not.
