American civil servant, Paula Jones is most known for suing President Bill Clinton in 1994 for indecent assault, but her lawsuit was dismissed as lacking legal merit. After Clinton’s impeachment, he agreed to settle with Jones and her lawyers outside of court and paid her $850k to drop the suit.
Jones is a known supporter of Donald Trump during the 2016 Presidential election against Hillary Clinton, even joining his press conferences. FX released true-crime anthology series “Impeachment: American Crime Story,”in 2021 about Clinton’s scandals during his term as President, with Annaleigh Ashford portraying Jones.
