Teri Garr got her big break when she starred in an episode of “Star Trek.” She starred in a lot of projects afterward like “Tootsie,” for which she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
The Ohio-born star is mostly remembered for her works in comedy shows. She has appeared in over 140 projects since the beginning of her career in the ’60s. She isn’t acting much anymore but is an author and multiple sclerosis advocate. She retired from acting in 2011 but is enjoying her time with her family.
