Matthew McConaughey hasn’t slowed down a bit since his career took off, but this doesn’t mean he’s completely forgotten about his Texas origins. This is why, after selling his Malibu property to Phil Lord in 2020, he and his wife Camilla Alves and their children relocated to their nine-acre Austin estate.
The 10,000-square-foot mansion boasts a seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion constructed in 1997. It has a breathtaking view of Lake Austin and an elevator, perfect for McConaughey’s mom, who turned 90 in January 2022. The home dubbed “Old Oak” is far from shabby, and it’s easy to see why the family picked it as their home.
